My trusty steed

This is my beloved bike. I'm surprised I haven't featured it before. I ride it to the station every morning. it's quicker than taking the car and much, much cheaper. I've fallen off it once, on black ice.

I know it's not much to look at, it's nothing fancy but I love it! The OM gave it a bit of a service on Saturday and it whizzes along now. He even added an old mud guard he found lying in the road.

Bit of a story about my bike. I had my original one stolen from the station one Friday evening. I duly reported it to the Police and then set about buying a replacement. I found this one on ebay, bid £21 for it and won it. The seller only lived half a mile away just round the corner from my parents. By Monday morning I was back cycling to the station.

Thing is this bike is identical to the one I had stolen! It's not my stolen one I might add. I also claimed for my old one on my household insurance and got back £90. Result!


Computer is back up and running thanks to the OM and Amazon. The problem is my internet is now running really, really S...L...O...W...L...Y!
