Bad Schonborn
Heavy rain all night, punctuated by showers which persisted all morning. The parents and daughter next door in the feuerwagon survived the night, even their gazebo stayed up all night, despite Jacca wishing it to collapse. Tracey has named them the Royle family, as they are all large and father never leaves his seat in the gazebo, preferring to direct matters from his comfy chair.
Even the super grossen Monaco holiday bus failed to look glamorous this morning. This is a mahousive motorhome worthy of the Formula 1 paddock. It has a matching colour co-ordinated trailer which carries a Smart car, the trailer can be remotely controlled to hitch up to the back of the bus. The bus itself has 3 large additional slide out rooms as well as a belly locker slide out which contains the mother of all gas barbeques, and oven and a coffee machine.
The holiday bus departed at the same time as us. I donned a coat and an umbrella as I readied for the journey, Herr Holiday Bus Fuhrer wore a sleeveless shirt and tight speedo?s!
Because of the rain, we drove 3 hours south to a place called Bad Schonborn. We are currently situated 50m from a great Thermal Spa centre which is todays blip.
They have 5 pools, all of which have natural salty mineral wasser. One of them has a super high 15% concentration of salt. Even I could float in it! It was strange to experience the floating sensation in the water which Tracey, who has 2 large flotation buoyancy aids, has in any pool. In this solebad, she barely got wet.
