Friendship

Today's picture of Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb' represents my day. I, along with a friend, visited three friends. Our visits included happy sharing, serious sharing, sad and hard sharing, but still melded into a beautiful, light, happy day of renewing friendships and service. I was able to harvest yellow squash, chard, zucchini, and share with a friend. I listened to another friend share her broken heart as the anniversary of the death of her only child nears. Shadows and light, new flowers and old, make for the fabric of life.
