Cartagena

Boat tour around the harbour.
Observing 3 generations of a spanish family and their respect for their father/grandfather who was wonderful and funny.
The beautiful archictecture and landscaping.
Spectacular bronze man representing the fear of terrorism.
Coffee and toast at harbourside cafe.
Panoramic lift to the hilltop to go to the castle.
View of the old bullring being restored.
The wonderful castle and spectacular views.
Peacocks.
Tapas.
Ice cream and more coffee.
A little boy with a dog that didn't want to walk.
Waiters on their break.
The security guard who got to be a photographer.
The roman ampitheatre that just took my breath away.

All here

Topped off with a lovely meal out this evening and the cricket highlights.

It's been a lovely day and I have never been anywhere that has taken my breathe away like Cartagena.

James is out with his second family, again. We barely see him - he just pops back to get clothes, occasionally and then returns to us in the evening to go to bed.
