So, the first day at work of me being in charge as my boss is on holiday & I take a half day! I think this is going to go well!

I know a few weeks ago I panic-blipped about my work, however my confidence in my work has improved, so now I'm feeling I will be alright. Three weeks is quite a long time but it will go really quickly.

The half day isn't undeserved, just one hit of the previous button & you will see my workplace was involved the now infamous London Riots. I have been working pretty damn hard to make sure my staff feel secure & that they are not intimidated by the thugs! Thankfully my area hasn't been hit since Monday, apart from a minor skirmish on tuesday with a few kids.

I did make use of the half day, I met up with my mate Joel as he is leaving for Thailand to be with his girlfriend. He is a good friend, whom I shall miss. He took me, and two other friends to a BBQ van on the south bank. I can't remember it's name, but it was awesome! I can still taste it! We then went to sit on the grassy bit just by the London Eye. Chatted for a while then left our separate ways a few hours later. Now I'm off home for a relaxing night.. As i have a busy weekend coming up!
