Big Day!

Tarsh, Scott, Ethan (3) and Laura (6) came down yesterday afternoon to stay the night. The kids were so excited! They arrived in time for tea and the kids played until bedtime. They were all sleeping in the same room which was going to be interesting! Laura was good and fell asleep, but Spence and Ethan were chattering away to each other for ages. We ended up putting Ethan to bed in my bed so he would fall sleep then moved him back to his bed when I went to bed!

This morning we had a leisurely morning then got ready and Tarsh and I took the kids to the park then to the beach. They all had a great time! There were some very wet pants and sandy bodies as a result!! We put them all in the bath together when we got back while we got lunch ready.

We pottered in the afternoon then they left at about three and Spence and I tidied up then went for a drive to Shallow Inlet. Spence almost fell asleep on the way (it takes less than 10 minutes to drive there!) but he saw the water and sand and wanted to climb up the sand dunes! So we did!!

Kaz came home about 6.15 from sailing then Kim and Tristan and baby Alex arrived about 6.30! We had a lovely tea and now are exhausted!! Spence fell straight asleep when we put him to bed and Kaz and I aren't too far behind!
