One of those Days

The new term must be near as today seemed to be spent, like so many of our Sundays, running the young people in our family to their various sporting events. Can't wait until one of them can drive themselves.

No 1 boy is also about to leave on a trip. He hasn't been able to do that since March and I can tell he is anxious that he will be able to manage. He will be fine, so long as he doesn't over do it. And so that leaves me alone in bed.
Ah, but with no one snoring or scratching and no alarms going off at silly 'o' clock.

The stress levels were rising all round after the boys i-pod stopped working and the girls phone contract seemed to be going seriously a wry. So I took myself off to the allotment - I haven't been there enough lately - and weeded for an hour or so. The place was full of tiny baby frogs but they were way too quick and jumpy to capture. The beans had a bad start but looks like they could recover enough to feed us all once. So perhaps it's not all bad.
