Da Nord Banks

Good morning world!

What a place to wake up!!

Moon rising over the second highest sea cliffs in the UK on the remotest inhabited island in the UK. Oh I am so happy. Twenty yards in front of the tent is a 500 foot drop to a boiling, frothing sea. Best to mind which direction you head, if you need to pop out during the night.

Today dawned very clear over Foula, but a huge bank of fog soon rolled in and obliterated all views - but at least it got rid of the midgies as well! From our camp spot we followed the coast past magnificent stacks, arches and wicks full of seals. Foula really is a magnificent place for lovers of the wild and lonely places.

Please take a look at my Bonxie attack from .yesterday

Flying back out tonight. I wonder what adventures we will have tomorrow?
