Harvest Moon
The extent of today's amibition, on another hot day, was to buy some wine. So off we went (after lunch) to our local vinyard to taste all they had to offer, and buy most of it too. The kids were rewarded for their patience while we tasted and chatted with a trip to the supermarket to buy a toy. Then home with purchases to get the dinner on. I think (backblipping, and it's all a bit hazy) that this might have been barbecue day when, frustrated by the lack of sweetcorn relish in France, I made my own. It was ok. I think (note to self) using red instead of white wine vinegar was a mistake, but missing out the celery was the right move.
Later with a wonderfully clear sky we all lay back to look at the stars. The moonrise gave me a chance to get the tripod out and play about with that a bit. My camera batteries ran out before I could get much done with all the stars though.
