Last day on the scaffolding today, then took it down (quite the most difficult part), put it up again briefly elsewhere in the house, and we were done.

Another day of clearing up plaster dust, then hanging curtains and finally being able to make our room into a bedroom rather than a forlorn-looking, dusty tool cupboard.

A friend arrived for a little visit, so there was much to catch up on.
