Wonderful old brickwork in the barn.
I think it's laid in the Flemish style...a row of stretchers followed by a row of headers...

For those of you less interested in vernacular building styles and more into people (surely 99% of the world) I put some photos up HERE from the big party we had this afternoon and evening, lots of Dutch friends popped over the border and the music was mighty. I was just practising portraits, which I seldom take.
Put the failures down to a combination of pintjes and sunstroke.

And let's not leave out the possibility of complete incompetence....
