Busy wee Saturday

Full day today. Barmy armies activities started back today so the boys had to be at the local pool for 9.20:-/ The summer long lies are a thing of the past...but it some ways that is good I hate to waste hours snoring in my bed...not that long lies with the army are excessive affairs your talking 9am at most!

Any way the big boys went to swimming with Mr R. After my run Es and I cycled down to the gym so we could go for a swim. Her CP knocks her co-ordination off a bit so she hadn't really progressed through the classes. At age 10 & in P7 she is beginning to feel pretty self conscious about being in a class full of younger ones...so we've pulled her out this year. When I'm not working on a Saturday we will do this and I think she may go herself when Mr R takes the boys to football on a Monday evening. She can swim and she has a determination to get better:-)

Cycle home was a slow affair after Es's exertions in the pool but we made it home to allow Mr R to take the wee fella to his football. Unfortunately, they were back shortly after as only 2 have enrolled for this class so they cancelled it:-/ They are hoping more will enrol so we'll just have to see how that develops.

After lunch we took Canna for a walk and did a wee spot of geocaching. This is me, Buncle & the Fangle looking in completely thr wrong place and exerting more energy than we needed too. We eventually got it though in a brilliant wee hiding place;-)

Tortillas for dinner and then a movie on the TV...after our busy day we were all pretty exhausted so bed was at the back of 9pm for us all:-)
