The Burning Bush

I was at a meeting at the school tonight with the equivalent of the PTA
(now a team of 5 - eek!!) and a couple of members of the school board trying to drum ideas how to fund raise for a school full of complacent parents and kids. I have sold food / tickets, baked foods / cakes, painted stuff, served beverages , helped with Teas in the Park, co-hosted quiz nights, fancy dress nights, Christmas dances, win the £100 note, waded in a freezing local river chasing 1200 yellow plastic ducks and still we get very little support from the other 1000 parents associated with the school aaargh - any ideas gratefully received!
