Apple pie order

This little apple tree is the result of a cutting grafted on to root stock. The parent tree was growing at a previous address and we never knew the variety. It is a lovely apple suitable for eating and cooking. Rather than 'lose' it Mike did a successful graft. For such a small tree it produces a great quantity of apples, they're not ready yet but getting there!
Good job I took this shot earlier today as I have had no opportunity since to use the camera. Spent the day in York again with my friend and had a useful time helping with sorting out books and 'stuff' ready for a September move.
