..Sweet Caroline.........

An homage to jkj10, who is always encouraging me to try more portraits.

Blipworld, meet Caroline , our Head of Humanities and my mate. We've worked together for about 20 years now, and been mates from the very first moment we met. I was nursing a hangover, Caroline was brought over to be introduced, and without looking up I launched a short directive to go forth and multiply to the introducer......then I looked up into the eyes of a young , blonde, newly qualified R.E teacher....not the best start! Then she smiled, and I apologised and that was it. Now we're two of the "established" members of staff and when we feel the need we bounce ideas and moans and worries off each other.

I know this doesn't bear any comparison to jkj10's portraits.....but hey I'm trying...and I did pick a lovely model....and caught her in an unguarded moment....she's probably laughing at a dirty joke on her mobile.

Today was GCSE results day and all those lazy teachers , who get those enormously long holidays, were there , in school to congratulate, console and cajole our pupils with their results and plans for the future.

We did ok....and it was good to see hebs again...even if she was up to her eyeballs in papers!
