.......Who walked the dog?..........

I went to visit Derek and Vicky this afternoon, to shoot some pictures of Derek working in his studio, witha view to him selecting the best for the website he's designing.

As usual the first greeting was from Bryn, the Miniature Schnauzer. He's such a friendly little fella, but as this blip shows sometimes a bit shy too.

The shoot went well...... Derek posed as if he was painting and I got some good shots....and then I did some shots of the garden just for fun.

Afterwards Vicky served up coffee and scones with clotted cream and strawberries...delicious!

Came home and selected the best shots, tweaked them a bit ....crops, brightness and contrast only....and e-mailed them off to D.

The Daughter came home and put the lettle on to make some tea.....and crack!!!...the kettle shorted out and tripped all the circuit breakers.......so that's job number 1 tomorrow....buy a new kettle.

It seems to be the week for things breaking down.

On another front we had some excitement at 6.20 this morning.......although I slept through it all....the Boss was woken by the Police helicopter hovering directly over our garden....looking out of the window she saw a police car blocking our road and 4 coppers running down the road....three police cars...with blues and twos shot down the adjoining road....seems that they were chasing a stolen motor which crashed abot 200 yards from the back of the house....the scrotes bailed out and legged it through the estate...garden to garden....eventually the police got them.
Can't believe I missed it all.
