All My Friends Are Superheroes

1. One of my favourite books of all time is called All My Friends Are Superheroes by Andrew Kaufman. It's a short book and can be read in a day. I've read it a few times now and it works every time. It's hard to say what it is that it does, but whatever it is, it's bursting with it.

2. I finished it again last week and when you finish it, you?ll want to pass it on. I received it as a gift and have passed it on a number of times to people that I want to share it with.

3. There's something hypnotic about it and every time I start I can't remember the trick at the end. So each time I still get the moment, the reveal, the ending.

4. I sit on the board of a very cool theatre company and they wanted to turn this story into a play. As it's being made into a film, they can't. What they can do is write their own play about a see through boy called Sam and his white book of superpowers. They've been working on it for a week or two and this afternoon I went to macrobert in Stirling to see their work. What an ace way to spend a Friday afternoon.

5. There are superheroes everywhere. Hardly any of them wear costumes.
