Just being pretty

Today's been a busy day. A good one but busy. So much so that this is all I've taken - shot it, liked it, left it at that. We've been with H&A all day. I took them to Montessori, teaching them the Little Green Frog song on the way, so they have been singing that the whole day

Montessori was great - it was really quiet. For most of the time, there were three families. Katie spent ages at the messy table - doing painting & sticking duck pictures. About 6 of them. They all played at the playdough, and spent a while with the dressing up. The eldest two spent most of the morning with builder hats on, Aiden had a dog costume - complete with tail and paws. At singing time, they pretty much led the show, choosing all bar two of the songs and hugely enthusiastically dancing away to them all.

We came back to ours for lunch and a play, They had a shared floor picnic and played some more. Katie and Harrison kept cuddling each other. When I took her for her sleep, he insisted on giving her a hug and a kiss night night.

Sleeps out the way, we headed for SureStart, to go to the stay and play. Katie had a lot of fun playing with the till and pretend money, sorting it. She did a stick, glue and colour picture and played in the sand. She went with the bigger children to wash her hands ready for snack time and sat at the table like a big girl - although not for long, the pull of the till was too strong!
