.....Money, money, money.....

Shaun and Walt the Wig..........no they aren't sharing out the loot from a raid....Walt is handing over the money from the sale of our permits in the local tackle shops.

Meeting tonight, just what I needed after the first day back at work......no lessons this morning so I managed to clean out all the crap to do with my old role from my office.......ready for all the crap that will come with my new role.

An hour with my form group getting them ready for the start of their final year....and then the killer....a double (two hour) lesson with the year 10's on the topic of how crude oil is made useful, including the politics of oil production, fractional distillation, cracking and the difference between alkanes and alkenes. Not the best topic to start a year with, especially as there's no practicals involved, just lots of talking, power points and work sheets. They looked a bit stunned at the end of it!

It's amazing....you think you've kept busy all Summer, but driving home tonight my feet were throbbing....must be all that walking round the room I do when I'm trying to keep kids interested in things they really couldn't give a stuff about!

Weather has been crap.....doesn't look good for tomorrow's BBQ....any one know any one who can chomp their way through 60 burgers and 60 hot dogs? They've all been thawed out so they'll have to be eaten.....or the ducks on the pond are in for a surprise!
