Move In Day At Berklee

We drove to my brothers dorm this morning to move him in. He shares a room with Ittetsu Nasuda, a 25-year old guy from Japan, and John has the single across the little common room. John is a senior so Chris is the youngest by quite a bit in his room. Ittetsu wasn't there while we were moving in so we didn't get to meet him until later. Moving him in went smoothly enough despite the fact that it's a million degrees in his room. After we finished that we went to get Chris' I.D. and other stuff. Lunch was delicious and after it we went to get on the line where the freshmen were picking up their laptops (the school requires them to get a Mac with special software). The line was really long so me and my mom went to the Berklee Bookstore to peruse. I got a Berklee sweatshirt and we picked up a few other things. They said that the line was too long and that people from a certain point back wouldn't get their laptops today. Chris was behind that point so we just decided to get seats for the opening convocation. That was pretty cool. The speeches given by the important Berklee people were cool and there were a ton of great musical acts afterwards. After being officially moved into his dorm, we walked Chris back to his dorm, met Ittetsu, and headed back to the hotel. We just ate in the hotel and I did the rest of my AP Euro homework.
