Changing moods at the High Pond

After the rain earlier today, it dried up and the sun even came out in time for Lynn and I to have a walk to the High Pond early this evening. At times it was very calm on the water and at other times there were sparkly ripples to see. We saw a moorhen, several dabchicks and mallards. Where have the Canada goose family gone, I wonder?
