The Reredos Screen

It's Open Doors in Midlothian this weekend. The church in our road is one venue and we popped in to have a look at the stained glass windows and other features.

This is the Reredos Screen, which apparently is a screen or decoration behind an altar. This one 'commemorates the men of the church who died in the Great War'. It was made by an Edinburgh sculptress, Alice Meredith Williams.
