Ile Maurice - having a ball

Now firstly - I dd not mean to upset good blippers back in Scotland with pictures of blue skies, white sandy beaches etc when they are enduring what seems to be some pretty rough weather for early Autumn so apologies to all!

That said, among the many photos taken today I could not resist this 'beachy' one of folks of all ages having a ball on the beach. I promise not to post beach blips all the time - just bear with us as we unwind for a bit before we do a bit of exploring. The other prime candidates for blips today were a superbly expert kite surfer (not me I hasten to add!); lunch which consisted of Snapper, rice, some green dip which I did not get the name of and cool beer; a wee black and white bird with a red plume which we've nicknamed 'mohawk' because of its plume which was helping itself to orange juice at breakfast; or one of the superbly set out dinner tables this evening; or the exotic drinks hastily put in front of me before Mrs S took a photo implying that I drink a lot!

Hope the warm blip-scene in the photo helps to cheer the day. Hope also that the weather back home in Scotland is improving.
