Summer

When I see dandelions, I think of summer. When I was a kid, I'd spend some of my summer days picking dandelions from my grandma's yard and surprising her with a whole handful of them.

Isn't it sad that dandelions are in fact weeds, unless you're a child?

Nate and I were on our way to an art show when I noticed this vibrant yard on a street full of faded neutral-colored houses. It really stood out. Too bad it's noticeable just because the owners can't be bothered to keep up their yard.
