yes... i turned a perfectly wonderful and very pretty looking, red rose - black

why?

intrigue...

no other reason, really... i've been running late all day today - not that that matters one iota to anybody - and hadn't a clue about what to blip - not that anybody cares about that either... as i was headed home from appts, i passed by a tiny rose bush - one of those minature ones - huh! was surprised it was still blooming... and for some strange reason this phrase went skittering through my head -

red rose - black

we all have those little promptings... those thoughts which occur in our heads - sometimes strong... sometimes as an itty bitty inkling... do you follow them? ignore 'em? let it simmer - percolate...

today with my little phrase... i decided to take it on a wing - and play... it's only a picture after all ... i think it turned out pretty decent...
