it really just looks that way - as though he's a stealth bomber... flying straight into it, right?

i was merely attempting to get him in flight... doing the typical bird stalking - chasing thing across a wide spanse of grassy area... attracting stares from several other magpies who descended to watch my antics - then quickly swooped up into nearby trees as soon as i turned the camera on them... boo! they were not impressed by any of my sweet murmurs today - and since i am not feeling up to par - i found myself taking several quick snaps, hoping for the best...
