Repair Job

We visited Dexter this morning and were shown the x-rays of the work the surgeon has done to attempt a repair of his leg. The plate is beneath the skin and holding the joint in place to give it the chance to heal.

Dexter himself was zoned out on painkillers about with-it enough to accept affection and eat some chicken (4 pieces, we counted). He doesn't seem like a cat with serious anaemia; spending most of his time flicking his front paw in an attempt to get the drip tube off.

They are intending to check his blood later today or tomorrow.
