The thing that I love most about being on a canalboat is the peace and tranquility that descends. Life slows down to walking pace and apart from the gentle throb of the engine, the only sounds to be heard are those made by nature.

You gently glide along, parting the water of the canal before you - and there is time to look at the trees and the sky - and everything around you. It's truly wonderful ..........................
