Swans

Today's the day ...................... for a river cruise

Big excitement today! We were going to go through the two huge locks in Worcester, big enough to take two boats side-by-side, and then we would be on the River Severn.

And it was pretty amazing to be in such a wide expanse of water after the constraints of the canal. We could go fast too - or at least faster than before when we had to think about meeting other boats or damaging the flora and fauna with our backwash.

These swans were on the river too and very much at home .........
