Sunday sporting fun
I love Sundays. Now that the children are getting a little older it's easier to do more and more 'sporty' things with them. We always start the day with swimming for all of us. O is making a lot of improvement and D was described as 'superbe' by his french speaking teacher.
In the afternoon we went out on our bikes, well the kids did, as it was a beautiful warm sunny day today. I bought the motorbike for D back in March at a second hand sale as it was too good a bargain to resist. It's supposed to be for two year olds plus, but D has mastered it and is quite fearless on it and sets off at a rapid pace. We have to run to keep up with him as hills, tumbles and other cyclists/walkers/rollerbladers do nothing to slow him down. I took lots of photos much better than the one above, but decided to use a blip of both kids today as O has been absolutely delightful recently. We had a tough couple of weeks with her at the start of term and think it was a combination of tiredness and the awful mouth infection that she has had for three weeks now - her lips still bleed in the corners. I discovered that at school they are focusing on four main questions this term, such as 'Is it kind..?', and she has been working really hard to be kind and helpful with D. Long may it last.
