Fishing at Five

...about quarter to Five, actually. Ollie and I went for our afternoon walk and at the jetty by the boat ramp there was a crowd ( for Rangitane) fishing at high tide. Ollie is always a bit spooked when there is anything different to the norm but he probably wouldn't have ventured much further along. He is at the same time fascinated and petrified by this structure. He creeps along it , usually up to half way, with his feet splayed out and then hurries back to the ramp. This goes on for as long as I let it ! I'm not quite sure what the problem is, the height above the water, the gaps in the boards, the vibration...One day he will tell me !
