Rogue Rhoddie!

At home today today as it's a Glasgow holiday weekend and the schools are off. Bit of a nothing day. D was working though. Boo!


Neither Alan or I were in the mood for anything energetic so lazed about a bit...although I did get some tidying up done.....but no ironing. That would just be silly! :))

Putting stuff in the recycling bin when I spotted one of the rhoddies looks as though it has a flower bud! Searched all over the shrub but this one was the only one I could see.

This rhoddie flowers in May and gave us some gorgeous blooms this year but I have never known it to bloom again. Is this normal or is the poor thing confused by the stupid weather?

Right, better turn my attention to making dinner now. The excitment never ends! :))
