Daylight!

For the second day in a row, I decided to blip when all I had available was my iPhone camera. This time there was sufficient light to avoid blurring, but also so much light that I couldn't see the screen, so I didn't manage to get quite the shot I was aiming for. Still, you can see the vibrant color of the flower, and you can see some of the dew drops on the leaves and petals.

 
I'm feeling incredibly cooped-up lately, between my 8-hour days in a cubicle and my 2-4 hour nights often spent inside the theatre. Finding myself out of oatmeal this morning, I resolved to walk up to the gas station at the corner, where I got some fatty, sugary pastry and a HUGE coffee flavored energy drink, which tasted terrible, but has made me feel incredibly energized. I might go run a marathon on my lunch break!

 
Or maybe not.
 
But it was a nice change from most mornings, walking around in the sunshine, shopping like a kid with her mom's credit card, and getting to see some flowers at a time of day I usually spend staring at spreadsheets :)
