Secret Garden...
Even lusher large!
This isn't the shot I intended to blip today. I had a mono shot all planned. The entry title planned. The write up planned and was out early to capture my subject. And I did. And I was delighed with it. And it felt good that my blip was bagged so early in the day.
Then I made the fatal error. I took a few other fun shots just since I had the time. And without knowing it, my intended shot was doomed.
You see, when I stepped outside just after 8.30 this morning, I stepped into a cold, dull, grey, wet and miserable Monday morning. Neighbours were leaving for work with that Monday morning lost a tenner and found a penny expression on their faces, school kids were walking past heading for the bus stop on the main road, shoulders slumped and scuffing their feet as they walked in sullen silence. Even the collie dog that passed with its hooded owner had its tail between its legs. All of us silently acknowledging the dismal Monday morning.
And then I upload my photos onto the lap top and see this one and this one and I realise that even on a dismal Monday morning, beauty and wonder are never far away and I need a kick up the backside for moaning about the heatwave passing this spot by. I don't even like the heat FFS!!! :-)))
So, once again, the power of a photograph has transformed my view of the world and my mood and put a smile on my old grumpy fizzog. God I love my macro lens! :))
C'mon sing along......you know you want to! ;-))
