Postie

I was taking Ollie for a quick walk this morning and saw our Post lady delivering mail to our mail box. The system here is quite different to the Uk and I've been intending to Blip it for a while, if the opportunity arose. So I struggled to pull the camera out and then she was gone. To our neighbours across the road. We live in a rural area so have mail boxes at the end of our drives/rights of way and the ladies zig-zag, to and fro across the road and right up to the boxes so they can deliver the mail direct from their driving seat.
It's an efficient system as far as getting round the houses must their carbon offsetting must be horendous !
At least it protects them from dangerous dogs, our last postie in Scotland was terrified of Ollie and Nevis, two of the softest dogs around !

It's not the best shot, but the rain has been persisting down ( thanks to Maadnz for this phrase ) this afternoon.
