Not A Kingfisher
Kingfishers are quite common round here, we see them every day sitting on the overhead lines, but we've never seen one in the garden until today. Mrs R spotted it landing on a branch on a tree at the bottom of the garden, grabbed the camera..... gone. What a shot it might have been.
With camera across my back I headed off with Ollie on a walk and just ouside our garden almost slipped on these - Anzac droppings. Ollie of course thinks they are some wonderful jumbo sized treat and what is worse they are on the reserve strip which I have to maintain. Still, it is winter so the grass cutting will slow down, hopefully.
I will get a good shot of Kingfisher one day.
ps thanks to Pixelsmiths and Twigs, I have now mastered the link !
