Fighting against the wind

No half day off today. Had to do a full day supply in my class. Was really good though as I was back teaching literacy and numeracy. Boy have I missed it. It was wonderful teaching in the morning again. The kids were focussed and produced some fab work. The change in my timetable to reduce teaching hours and increase sen time has had a negative effect on life. It's my performance management next week so I will be raising this issue. Fingers crossed I can swap sen and teaching round.

Went to pick my Jaden up after school feeling so much happier. We stopped by the beach to take a quick blip. It was freezing and the wind was harsh. The poor birds were fighting the wind. I felt so sorry for them. Poor things were trying so hard and getting nowhere! Recognise that feeling. They didn't give up though. A message in there somewhere!

Enjoyed doing no work tonight and playing with my photos. May read my book later ...I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
