Family-sized

Lovely to get my big casserole out to make conejo agridulce* (rabbit in sweet and sour sauce) ready for supper with our son tonight. We'll be off to the airport straight after lunch to meet him.

We had a fantastic evening of Occitan music last night, supper first here with some friends and a delicious pizza made by Lo Jardinièr, then a few hours of wonderful live music by Du Bartas, an inspired mix of Occitan and Arab traditions.

It was a bit of a shock to get up this morning and find our garage had been broken into during the night - nothing taken luckily. Maybe the thieves didn't want pumpkins....worrying, though.

* recipe from Frank Camorra's Movida Rustica. It's the first time I've tried it but it smells promising already.
