All This Were Fields Once

A lovely, leisurely breakfast here was followed by a walk in sunshine that wasn't warm or cold. Definitely has that feeling of change in the air.

We went out to the Fasanerie for our walk and the disappointment of not seeing the otters, lynx and wolf was tempered by seeing a pair of bears. The signs saying "Feeding the animals is forbidden" was taken as seriously as the "don't drive and use your mobile phone" law. I fundamentally don't understand that at all. The Fasanerie is a really nice little trip out (made even better by being absolutely free). And it was nice to walk and chat in the fresh air.

And then, all too soon, we had to take AH to the train station and for her to go home. And so, today's song is for AH. It was lovely to see you again.
