Season of mists...

This is one of my favourite views locally and it looked fabulous today with Ben Vorlich appearing misty, evocative and distant. A glance of sunlight on the foreground trees would have helped the shot enormously - but it was not forthcoming at the time I was poised with camera in hand. However the dogs and I had enjoyed a lovely walk today revelling in sunshine for some of the time and it was so good to see the hills again as they have been evasive for so many days now, more often than not completely shrouded in low damp cloud.
