Championes!

Son One came home last week clutching a letter, with a massive grin on his face - he'd been picked for the school footie team :-D

Local schools tournament this afternoon. Out of 7 matches they lost 2 and drew 1, and they won the plate! Each team member got a gold medal too, he is so chuffed with himself bless him. He asked me to point out that he wasn't in goal in the matches they lost btw..

They looked so diddy compared to some of the other teams, and their strips were absolutely massive as you can see (that's tucked in btw, it was down to his knees!). They had such a good time they'd have been on a high anyway, but winning was a huge bonus.

Glad I got to go - should have been at work but my lovely boss let me take the afternoon off. Meant I got to go and watch unimpeded by Son Two who stayed in nursery, which was lovely. Slight downer was that he then decided he'd rather go home with his childminder than me :-( Still, at least I know he's happy there!
