Occupy Saturday

We wouldn't let Mitzi out the door so she could go join the "Occupy Wall Street" protest. So she decided to occupy her spot on the carpet. I mentioned in yesterday's blip that my favorite days all start with an "S." Mitzi told me she agrees!

We've enjoyed a lovely autumn day with a sunny high of approximately 82 degrees and mild breeze. I thought about taking my laptop out to the patio table to do the online reading and marking of student papers, but I sat just inside the door instead. So Mitzi chose to "occupy" right here near me.

This middle day of October has been a good day at home.
