York gardens

Had a long and lovely day today. Up easy and off to York: me; John and Jaden. John had been up 23 hours yesterday and only had 5 hours sleep. Needless to say he was rather snappy today. His fault though as he wanted to go canoeing and do the late night mountain rescue exercise! We coped with him as we were going to York to see Nan and Pots really (John's mum and dad).

We walked the city walls, shopped, watched street performers and went in the gardens next to the river (as depicted above)! We had a lovely meal at an Italian -where Jaden ate them out of garlic bread!

Then back home to help Jaden finish his homework and do my school preparation for tomorrow. Aiming to be in bed before midnight but not looking hopeful. Been a lovely day so worth it!
