Cheese on Toast
1. Cheese on toast. One of my favourite lines from my favourite play and one of my favourite suppers. My appetite is what the experts might refer to as 'skew whiff' at the moment. Sometimes you are hungry, sometimes you aren't.
2. I start the day with a pre-work trip to a very odd, very cool shop to buy carrier bags which - with the addition of a pen, a badge and a programme - will shortly become 'goody bags' for young people being dragged encouraged to the theatre for the first time in Arbroath this evening.
3. I am gutted to realise too late that my camera battery was still safely in the charger in my flat. Today's photo really should have been the view from the window of the meeting room in Callendar House - Falkirk Council's offices. It was Council meets Downton, with the fanciest radiators ever.
4. Home, sat on the train between a group of teenage boys. There's a definite 'teenage boy' smell, I'm not making that up. They had a slight hint of the suedehead about them - a touch of the neo-nazi, which obviously made my heart sink a bit. But after a moment or two it's easy to spot that a teenage boy is a teenage boy. Their conversation about which could jump higher out the sea - a shark or a dolphin - made me smile.
5. Housework. All night.
