Momentous day

This is an unusual sight.

I'm rather fond of these floorboards, which were carefully and lovingly laid by my dad and me about 7 years ago. But I don't often see them, particularly not the ones under the bed.

A concerted effort to declutter, spurred on by an impulse to swap the usage of the two rooms upstairs in my house, has led to the space under the bed being emptied and cleaned for the first time in years too long.

Please don't look at this in large - I'm a little embarrassed by the state of the skirting and decoration under the radiator... :-)
