Bright wee thing

This little robin seemed quite put out to find me digging in his/her bit of soil. S/he flew down very confidently and when saw I was there, quickly disappeared again. S/he came back many times to the hedge to see if the coast was clear and when I stood very still with my back to the hedge I could hear his/her wings beating as s/he flew from stem to stem.

Quite brightened my mood!
