.....NUTS! Whole hazel nuts........

Well, peanuts actually.

The Son and Heir had a game in Wrexham this afternoon, so he dropped YH and Charlie off on his way. The Boss was at work, but the Daughter was here. So after we fed Charlotte (pureed cauliflower) we headed off to Heaton park with a big bag of peanuts in shells.

The park is swarming with grey squirrels and they are almost tame....tame enough to come up and take nuts out of your hand. We hoped Charlotte would enjoy seeing them....but she totally ignored them. So we carried on to the farm section....she ignored the hens, the peacock, the pigs, the goats and the alpacas....but she got a bit animated by the donkeys.

The Daughter and Young Helen had chips from the mobile food bar and then we headed back home.

Charlotte took great interest in the film.....Finding Nemo....the S & H got here about 7.00.....having won 2-1....we've all eaten......Charlie has had a bath and is now having a bottle before heading home....the Daughter is going out for the night....and I might get a few peaceful hours before the Boss gets back.

Tomorrow? I'm not fishing the match.....but I might go by myself for a couple of quiet, gentle hours.....I can be home in 10 minutes if the back plays up.....and then I'm settling down for the big game, and a quiet afternoon and evening....before Dad arrives on Monday.
