Big Bike

Today we tried out the music class at the children's centre.

The other children there obviously go every week, but it was all new to Elizabeth, so she drifted in and out of it. She liked the parachute the best, especially when we bounced loads of balls off it. And she liked lying down next to her friend under it.

At another point in the session, her friend was lying down and Elizabeth went over to him and tickled him. They both thought this was hysterical!

In the afternoon we went back to the centre for a Stay and Play. There were only 2 other children there, so I sneaked a couple of photos when Elizabeth and I were outside alone.

She loved this bike. She did try the pedals, but she's a bit short for it. She managed to move it anyway with her feet.

New phrase from this evening... she sat down in her seat with one of our cushions behind her and said "very comfy". She also called for me from the kitchen at one point, then told me "go away mummy" with her hand out like talk to the hand. I went away and came back and she tapped the sofa and said "Sit down on the sofa mummy".

I keep saying it, but I'm astounded by how quickly she is learning to talk. You can have whole conversations with her now.
