Santa Cruz wildlife
We left Half Moon Bay and headed down to Santa Cruz where Mr MT and Uncle Rob were due for a surfing lesson. Me and Aunty V wandered about on the wharf, where this sealion was enjoying the sunshine on one of the landing platforms.
It's a fairly traditional seaside resort: with a long pier with restaurants and shops and a boardwalk with a real old fashioned funfair. Unfortunately they don't open the funfair until 11 so we missed it the next day as we were heading north to San Francisco. We did have a lovely dinner tonight (backblipping) on the pier and had a great table looking out over the bay, with dolphins entertaining us. We also found a fab sweet shop at the end of the pier where they sold candy lego bricks - which actually worked for building walls.
