Uncle Rob

Day out in San Francisco today, doing all the things tourist are supposed to do (Pier 39 to see the sealions, boat trip around the bay). This is 'Uncle Rob', who as you can see is a potential blipper. I'm contemplating trying to recruit him, but then I don't have many RL friends on here and quite like it like that (with apologies to my friends who were here before me for not allowing them the same luxury...)

Meal out tonight at a fab restaurant (Zuni) and then on to a bar the waiter recommended (Martunis) where a great singer and pianist was entertaining us over our martinis (mine was a fig martini - fantastic, and no hangover). Such a cool bar, everyone gathered around the piano and taking it in turns to sing. Great fun.

Luckily the pianist/singer took a break about an hour after we arrived so we headed home to relieve the babysitter. Good job really or I think we could have had many many more martinis and the next day could have been very messy indeed...
